I thought I'd keep the whole Christmas theme going and get some more cards done in plenty of time!
Coloured with Copic Markers and kept him pretty simple.
Retired foil vellum from SU.
Dies used from Jaded Blossom.
You can't see it on the picture, but the white fluffy parts of his hat have Clear Wink of Stella on them to make them glittery!

Coloured with my copic markers and then used my Clear Wink of Stellar pen to put some sparkle on the filaments. (hard to tell from the pic).
Added some white gel pen flicks for a bit of character.
I decided to get my embossing folders out for this one.
This time I also used the negative side of the embossed image (the raised part of the image is glued to the matt) just to give it a bit of a muted look. It is a border type folder so I embossed the top and bottom of my cardstock, and then did a centre strip which just pokes out each side.
Instead of traditional Christmas wishes, I kept it simple and will add a sentiment inside the card when I write it up to send.
Dies used are Jaded Blossom and the sentiment word dies are from a magazine - had a cute tag with it.
This week's Challenge over at our Polkadoodles Blog is Anything Goes / Summertime, Holidays.
I have used Ula Life's Collection for my journal page.
I started off with Ula Don't Listen black and white image which I coloured with Copic markers.
For my background on my journal page I used various paints, inks and stencils.
I have my base page, then using a page from an old novel, I created a matt for my troubled girl.
The saying is one you get from the kit and is referenced as U Sparkle 2 - it reads "It's just a bad day, not a bad life."
Now where do the holidays come in you ask???????
Ok, so no seashore beaches, etc here, but how many of you have a teenager (I have 2!!!) in your house?
You know when the holidays are here because all you seem to hear is how bad their life is, my friends are doing, blah, blah, blah, how come we never do anything? I'm bored, I have nothing to do! I can't wait to get a job and leave home!
Yep, so there in is my holiday theme - my journal page dedicated to my daughter!
That saying is sooooooooooo good, even my husband looked at it and said "Yep, got her in one!
I hope you like her and I look forward to seeing your take on the theme - why not have some fun with it like I did!
I kept this card very simple as I didn't want to take away the focus off her.
I really like this as a Sympathy card.
I have coloured with Copic Markers and White Gel pen.
Stitched Rectangle 1 Die from Jaded Blossom.
Just To Say Die from a magazine (Bonus!)
Doilies and Glitter Enamel Dots from my stash.

Betty and her family are in the midst of moving homes ( stressful at the best of times!) and to celebrate, we are making cards to send as housewarming greetings by using either Pumpkin Penny or Arachnia Ana, or both!
I already own Arachnia Ana, so I asked for Pumpkin Penny and have made cards using both. First one using Pumpkin Penny for Rio.
And second one using Arachnia Ana for Betty.
Coloured with Copic Markers.
Dies used are all Jaded Blossom.
How much fun are they!
I got to dig out my Halloween papers, and dies and play!
I am entering Pumpkin Penny in the following Challenges:
The Progressive Challenge freebie for this month is the New Release image Honey Chef.
I have teamed her up with the New Release ready made Kitchen Scene.
Coloured with copic markers and maybe just a bit overboard with the white gel pen.
I merged my two images together but you could easily print off both and then place Honey on some foam dots to give some dimension if you wanted.
Don't forget to request your image and join in the Facebook Progressive Challenge this month.
We would love you to join in.
Time for another Inspiration Post for you using Oddball Stamps.
So I have gotten up to March for my 2018 DT Planner.
A close up
Isn't she just adorable! Just the right amount of Sass!
Again, I have left room to add more images later if I want.
I have used our Creative Planner Inserts.
Millys Big Game with Sentiments is one of Lizzy's Rubber Stamp sets, and if you would love to have her, there are only 3 left so you'd best be quick! Hop over to the Esty shop and send a message to Lizzy asking - unless she has put them in the shop, then just click there!
Another uber cute owl and what an awesome sentiment to go with her!!!!!
I coloured her with Neon copic markers and then decided to step out of my comfort zone....deep breath! and create a mixed media canvas piece!
I like her a lot!
I used Gesso over a newsprint patterned paper (just a few spots peeking out) to give an added interest.
Various paints used along with Distress Oxide inks on the background of the Owl and the doily.
Still learning with this oxide ink but am happy with my effort so far.
I also used a few various stencils for my canvas background.
